discipleship
After He gathered, Jesus did what He saw His Father do, and speak what He heard His Father say. He modeled how to live life “on earth as it is in heaven.” He set an example to follow. He didn't do conferences, offer curriculums or propose new methods. He taught men through a message of love and service. He discipled, they grew.
Jesus calls us to be with Him. To know His voice and obey. Today's generation is distracted with noise. So we must cultivate solitude, study of the Word, a life of prayer; to move information into transformation. Mentoring is one-on-one and in groups. Your life’s call and focus will be sharpened. You will help awaken, envision, and mobilize others for God’s Kingdom. |
